Showing California state rules because Avenal's local rules may conflict with state law or are being challenged

Showing California state rules because Corcoran's local rules may conflict with state law or are being challenged
We show the state rules for older second-unit rules from 2014, including a one-unit limit, a 30% size cap for attached units, zone standards, a 10-foot building separation, design-matching rules and owner occupancy for garage conversions. Check with Corcoran about how it handles this today.

Showing Hanford city rules
These are Hanford's own ADU rules on file, shown with the California state rules they build on. Each item says which is which.
Where a Hanford rule may conflict with state law or is being challenged, we show the California state rule instead. This covers limits on combining ADU types, the number of detached ADUs on multifamily lots, a design-blending guideline and owner-occupancy rules for junior ADUs.

Showing California state rules because Lemoore's local rules may conflict with state law or are being challenged
We show the state rules for main-home height and setback standards, architectural-compatibility rules, a 220 sq ft minimum size and owner-occupancy rules for junior ADUs. Check with Lemoore about how it handles this today.
Unincorporated Kings County (planning page) (opens the government site in a new tab)
