Become a founding ADU builder sponsor

My California ADU gives homeowners a free research summary of the public ADU rules for their address. We are inviting a small number of licensed local ADU builders to be founding sponsors, matched by county.

Founding sponsor offer

• Up to three founding sponsors per county.
• A founding rate, locked for your first 12 months, below the regular price we will publish later.
• We share the full terms when we follow up, and we are asking builders what would make a listing worth it to them. Tell us in the form.

Who uses the site

• California homeowners looking into an ADU for a specific address, usually early in their research.
• People reading the state baseline, the local rules on file for their city, and the next steps for their lot.
• Visitors to city and county pages across California. Some pages include local rules from city or county sources, and others stay with the state baseline.

How county sponsorship works

1. You choose the California counties you serve.
2. A clearly labeled “Local ADU builders” listing appears below research summaries and city pages for those counties, and on the home page when a visitor's approximate location is in one of them.
3. Each listing shows your business name, CSLB license number, a short line about your work, an optional logo, and a link to your website.
4. Listings are labeled as advertisements and kept separate from the research summary. Sponsorship never changes what a summary says.
5. You get simple monthly counts of how often your listing was shown and clicked, by county. We do not track visitors or share their personal information with sponsors through these listings.

Requirements

• An active California CSLB contractor license in good standing, shown in every listing.
• Workers' compensation coverage on file with CSLB if you have employees.
• At least one completed ADU project you can point us to.
• Honest claims only. No promised prices, timelines, or permit outcomes.
• We can decline or remove any listing. We do not endorse, screen, or recommend sponsors, and the listing says so.
